Your generosity can go twice as far for Wiley University! The matching opportunity ends Thursday, October 15.

At the 2026 Texas Annual Conference, churches and individuals pledged more than $100,000 to establish an endowment for Wiley University, with gifts matched dollar for dollar by the Texas Annual Conference.

Founded by Methodists through the Freedman’s Aid Society, this historically Black university in Marshall, Texas, is part of our shared Methodist legacy. During Annual Conference, delegates shared family connections to Wiley, congregations of all sizes pledged support, and Texas A&M Wesley Foundation students committed to fundraising and advocacy. Together, we put our theme, Reimagine, into action.

Thank you to everyone who has already fulfilled a pledge! If you or your congregation have an outstanding commitment, please ensure your gift is received by October 15 to take advantage of the match.
