One of our favorite parts of the week. 🌸

You'll find us at Taylor's Parking Lot in Loomis every Friday from 9am to noon with fresh flowers, eggs, honey, rose water, bath salts, and more.

We'll also be at Quarry Park in Rocklin on Saturday and the farmstand is open all weekend.

A lot happens before a flower ever makes it into a bouquet 💐

What starts as a small seedling or plant in the field takes weeks, and sometimes months, of growing, watering, weeding, and waiting.

One of our favorite parts of flower farming is watching that transformation happen. Seeing a bed go from green growth to rows of blooms never gets old.

And then comes the best part, harvesting those flowers and sharing them with all of you.

You can find us this week at the Friday market in Loomis, the Saturday market at Quarry Park in Rocklin, and at the farmstand all weekend.

Say hello to the newest additions to the farm, the guinea keets!!!

Right alongside Gus, these little ones joined the farm recently and have already made themselves at home.

They showed up tiny, fast, and completely convinced they have somewhere very important to be.

Their two moms are leading the way while one determined little keet trails behind, doing its best to keep up.

Watching them race around the farm has quickly become one of our favorite parts of the day. 🐥

Between the keets, the puppy, the piglets, and counting down to our HGTV Crashers episode airing June 15, there's never a dull moment around here lately.

The farm got a little louder this week.

Meet Gus 🐶

He's an English Shepherd, just like our beloved Dodger, and he officially joined the family this week.

So far he's been soaking up attention, following everyone around the farm, and acting like he's lived here his whole life. He's been exploring every corner of the property, introducing himself to everyone, and generally keeping us entertained.

The funniest part? Otis.

Gus has been getting plenty of attention from everyone on the farm. Everyone except Otis.

Let's just say Otis is still deciding how he feels about the new guy.

We're pretty sure they'll be best friends eventually. For now, we're enjoying the process.

Happy Friday from the farm!!

We’re getting everything loaded up and ready for market day in Loomis this morning.

Fresh flowers, eggs, honey, rose water, bath salts, and all the good farm things will be heading to Taylor’s Parking Lot from 9am to noon today.

The sweet peas are still blooming and the dahlias are finally waking up around the farm. One of our favorite times of year.

Our daughter graduates this week 😍

She grew up on this land. She has watched this farm go from an idea to something real, season by season, animal by animal, flower by flower. She is the one who mentioned almost in passing, the way teenagers do, that she has always dreamed of getting married under a willow tree.

So we planted her one. It is still only three feet tall.

We are so proud of her we don't quite have the words for it. So instead we just keep planting things in her honor and hope that someday she understands what this farm has always been about.

Congratulations to our girl. The willow tree is growing. So are you. 🌸

Dahlia season is finally starting around here and we are very happy about it. 🌸🌸🌸

Earlier this spring we planted hundreds of dahlia tubers and after months of watering, waiting, heat, hail, and wind, the first blooms are finally opening up.

Sandia Bliss was our first flower of the season and she’s still one of our favorites. Pale yellow with soft pink tips and somehow even prettier in person.

Worth all the waiting every single time.

What a weekend.

On Sunday morning we were featured on Good Day Sacramento and finally got to share a secret we’ve been keeping for months.

La Bella Vito Farm is going to be on HGTV.

We were selected for a brand new show called Crashers, hosted by Jonathan Knight, and it was filmed right here on our farm in Loomis. Being able to finally talk about it publicly honestly still feels surreal.

The episode airs June 15th and we’ll be hosting a watch party on the farm that evening. More details coming soon. 🌿

Two markets this week and WE ARE SO READY

Come find us today at Taylor’s Parking Lot in Loomis from 9am to noon. We’re looking forward to another beautiful market day with fresh flowers, good people, and hopefully a little sunshine.

We’ll have fresh flowers, eggs, honey, rose water, bath salts, and all the good farm things.

And tomorrow is our very first Saturday market at Quarry Park in Rocklin, which honestly still feels a little surreal for our little farm. We can’t wait to see everyone there. 🌿
