🌙✨ MEET OUR MAKERS ✨🌙
Customer Appreciation Week • Wednesday
Today is all about our local makers and authors! We’re so appreciative of the creativity, personality, and heart they bring to Over The Moon Gifts. They add so much to our store’s vibe—and give you so many wonderful reasons to shop local. 💛
Here are just a few of the talented people whose work you’ll find here:
🎨 Kat Sikora Hilton
An Oberlin artist, graphic designer, and former Oberlin City Schools art teacher, Kat creates locally inspired T-shirts and astrology cards. She designs for favorites like the Oberlin Farmers Market and The Carlyle Gift and Flower Shop, and illustrates her husband’s books!
📚🌶️ Angela Brixie
Our extra-spicy author! Angela writes with a mission to help readers embrace their desires and talk openly about s*x without shame. Find her books here at Over The Moon or on Amazon.
📖 Kelly Boyer Sagert
A freelance writer from Lorain, Kelly specializes in nonfiction history books, often exploring local history. She’s always searching for “the story behind the story.”
🐉 Treasure Trove 3D Prints
This locally owned, couple-run Lorain business creates treasures for all ages—from dragons and magnetic adoptables to fidgets, décor, and custom creations.
“Plunder a Bit of Everything!”
🧶🍪 Tonja Rhodes
Known as the Topaz Fairy, Tonja has spent eight years bringing nostalgic favorites and original crochet designs to life, stitching a little personality and whimsy into every piece.
She’s also the baker behind Sugar Moon Bakeshop! A trained baker with 30 years of experience, she pours her love of baking into cookies that bring back sweet memories and help make new ones.
💎🌸 Heather Doskocil
Our beader, jewelry maker, candle maker, pressed-flower designer, and beach-glass creator! If inspiration strikes, Heather will try her hand at it. She loves creating the magical finds that make Over The Moon feel so special.
🌙 Heather and Tonja are also the owners of Over The Moon Gifts and our new store, Timeless Moon!
Stop in today, discover something made with heart, and find your next favorite book, handmade treasure, or sweet treat. Every local purchase helps keep creativity growing in our community. Thank you for supporting our makers, our authors, and our little moon-filled world! 💛
