Two very different looks, one scrumptious yarn: LAMANA Como is simple and luxurious, but not basic. The superfine merino is so soft you'll think there has to be cashmere blended in!

As for the cardigans, Margaret chose Marigold by Beatrix Kovacs because "I really enjoy Beatrix Kovacs’ attention to detail in her patterns. Details like neckline shape, edge finishing, and overall silhouette made this pattern go at the top of my queue even before the testing phase was done."

Lisa's pick is Paul Cardigan by Moreca Knit: "The loose relaxed fit with the neat and polished button band is what attracted me to this oversized cardigan! I’ve had my eye on Como all summer long every time I go into work, so I can't wait to finish my other projects and start this one."

This is a fun one for those who love unusual colorwork:

Gabrielle's pick is Hesper by Amy Christoffers, a quilt-inspired top-down fi*****ng weight cardigan - so easy to wear as a light and bright layer over tees or dresses. The colorwork yoke is worked with slip-stitches, and is the perfect way to show off the unfolding colors of Spincycle Dyed in the Wool. For your main color, try Miss Babs Yummy 2ply or Biches & Bûches Petit Lambswool.

Our team has opinions on cardigans... I always pay attention to what Debbie has in her queue, because her taste is impeccable and she always pairs yarn to pattern beautifully.

Debbie's pick is Betula by Jacqueline Dillen, a gorgeous cardigan in worsted weight: "I wanted to add a textured cardigan with interesting details to my wardrobe. Blue Sky Fibers Woolstok will give it the warm soft rustic look that I’m going for."

Fall is in the air and I’ve got cardigans on my mind… Maggie by Petiteknit is at the top of my list for the simple silhouette and thoughtful shoulder shaping.

Which yarn? It’s a three-way competition between Rowan Felted Tweed, ITO Rakuda and LAMANA Como - any of these would be lovely to work with. I’m leaning toward Como since I haven’t made a sweater with it yet, and we have more colors arriving soon.
