Here are the basics building steps of the Head-In-Vat display for a Halloween Fun raiser. Made a quick tube w 10mm foam and used an old steal mixing bowl for a top because as a maker-acquaintance friend said, “domes suck to make!” Cut an oval for a head viewing and stressed about whether it was too high or too low. Some PVC pipe for drama and detailing and then a healthy does of and primer later began to do basic painting.

Yesterday was exhausting but also fun and exhilarating- I got to build alot of the props and displays for a fundraiser at works - lots of people came out for a good cause and I got to work with some terrific budding artists to teach them the art of prop making and that art isn’t just still life’s and fine art painting. Fun had by all, and I’ll be posting some follow up on the head-in-vat seen here.

At a local No Kings rally today, there was a tiny counter demonstration across the street and no joke this guy proudly waved his defiant sign upside down for 45 mins! People were cracking up, but he really thought he was sticking it to the libs. 😂🤦‍♂️. Even Aunt Tifa was laughing 🤣.

I’m going to go ahead and declare this the best DLC of 2018. It has a story and it’s 15 hours. Nice and limited so you don’t need to dedicate a lot of time.

Just posting some belated work in progress pics of upcoming projects. The first is a fantastic ronin figure from - the stl files are great and have incredible detail. They also come with a great commercial license so you can pass on these great figures to others.

The second is a Blood Angel that I’m repainting and adding some 3d Printed custom parts to. These pics are old so I’ve moved quite a bit on both of these so I’ll be posting follow ups tomorrow or next. Comments or questions always appreciated and welcomed. Any or TMNT fans out there?
