We made a spicy chili oil Chex mix with Chex, pretzels, Cheez-Its, butter, garlic, and Zindrew Chili Oil. It’s crunchy, buttery, a little spicy, and the kind of snack you keep grabbing “just one more handful” of.

Use OG if you want it more mellow, X-Batch if you want more heat

Ingredients:

8 cups Chex cereal, any mix you like
2 cups pretzels, or substitute with your favorite crunchy snack
2 cups Cheez-Its
1/2 cup unsalted butter, 1 stick
1/3 cup Zindrew Chili Oil, X-Batch for more heat, OG for milder flavor, or a mix of both
2 tsp granulated garlic
1 tsp cayenne pepper, optional for extra spice

Instructions:

Preheat your oven to 220°F.

In a large bowl, combine the Chex, pretzels, and Cheez-Its.

In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, melt the butter. Stir in the Zindrew Chili Oil, granulated garlic, and cayenne pepper, if using. Mix well, then let it cool slightly.

Pour the butter and chili oil mixture over the dry mix. Toss until everything is evenly coated.

Spread the mixture onto a parchment-lined baking tray.

Bake for about 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes so the mix dries evenly and doesn’t clump.

Let the Chex mix cool completely before serving.

Enjoy your Zindrew Chili Oil Chex Mix, and let us know what you think!
