15 YEARS 🥂

My journey into the world of rugs didn’t begin with a family-run, multi-generational business. In fact, rugs are career number 4.

After college, I moved to NY and became an Ad Man at Grey, responsible for Downy—yes, the fabric softener. It wasn’t quite the Don Draper role I imagined, and I wasn’t going to let laundry habits take over my soul, so I quit.

NY nightlife became my unexpected introduction to interiors. When I wasn’t dancing at Twilo or Bungalow 8, I was studying the spaces—the lighting, materials, mood and provocative design.

Eventually, I headed home to Seattle to create my own version. VEIL was the first restaurant I designed, alongside Rolluda Architects, LLC. Our chef, Shannon Galusha, came from The French Laundry. High-style design met high-standard cuisine, and we crushed it for three years.

Then 2008 happened.

The financial crash took us down, but I realized designing restaurants was much more lucrative than running them. I joined Garret Cord Werner , a residential firm where custom was king. There I learned the language of rug design—scale, construction, texture, color and materials—and an obsession began.

In 2011, I moved to Venice Beach and started the company from my apartment. No showroom. No client list. Just an idea and a willingness to knock on every door I could until designers trusted me enough to give me a shot. Slowly, they did.

I opened my first (tiny) showroom on Abbot Kinney. When the rent tripled and we needed more space, West Adams became our next chapter—a larger, industrial creative playground that allowed the brand to evolve.

In 2022, I returned to where so much had unknowingly begun: New York. Our Flatiron showroom introduced a more intimate, residential way to experience our rugs and changed how I thought about what a showroom could be.

Now, in 2026, we’ve opened our new LA flagship, designed with Luis M Fernandez .
More home than showroom, it brings together rugs, furniture, art and objects—and represents everything I’ve learned along the way.

There was never a master plan. No roadmap. Just creative detours and a willingness to keep moving.

15 years down. Plenty more to do. 🥂

There’s luxury… and then there’s surrender.

Wall-to-wall, handknotted silk invites you in with a hush—cool, fluid, impossibly soft beneath bare feet. Light drifts across its surface like water, revealing depths of tone that shift with every movement, every hour, every breath.

The room doesn’t just change—it exhales. Edges dissolve. Sound softens. Time slows.

This is not flooring. It’s a feeling—silk drawn across space, intimate and enveloping, where every step becomes a quiet indulgence.

For those who crave beauty you can sink into.

LANGUAGE OF TEXTURE ✨

On Highland Avenue in the Hollywood Design District, Erik Lindström unveils a 6,000 square foot flagship that quietly upends the conventions of the rug showroom.

Conceived by designer Luis M Fernandez , the space reads less as retail and more as a series of cinematic, residential vignettes - rooms that unfold with deliberate intimacy and restraint.

Drawing on a Milanese Brutalist sensibility, the architecture balances weight and warmth: deep-toned walls, sculptural openings, and a tactile palette that amplifies the richness of each textile. Vintage furnishings from the 1970’s and Lindström’s personal art collection create layered moments of discovery, inviting visitors to engage slowly and sensorially.

A standout listening room - wrapped in silk s**g and oxblood velvet - anchors the experience, underscoring the brand’s emphasis on atmosphere and emotion. Here, rugs are not merely displayed but lived with, positioning the showroom as a destination for bespoke design and immersive exploration.

Introducing / OSIRIS 🔺🔺

Inspired by the enduring geometry of the Egyptian pyramids, Osiris distills one of history’s most iconic architectural forms into a quiet, contemporary statement.

A sculptural border of stepped pyramid motifs frames the space, creating rhythm, depth, and a sense of permanence without overwhelming the room. The result is a rug that defines an interior with subtle confidence—architectural, refined, and timeless.

Part of our Frame Collection, a series of handcrafted border rugs designed to shape a room through thoughtful proportion and understated detail.

Handmade from the finest Tibetan wool and fully customizable in size, color, and scale.

Meet HELIX ⚡️

Part of our Mid Century Collection, HELIX is a bold, Scandinavian-inspired composition defined by rhythm and movement. This handknotted piece features a deep, matte wool ground that anchors a luminous, raised silk motif.

Flowing bands unfurl in a repeating, pinwheel-like formation, creating a sense of continuous motion across the surface. The contrast between the soft, light-reflective silk and the dense wool background gives the pattern a sculptural, dimensional quality—both graphic and tactile.

Handmade in Nepal with Tibetan Wool and Fine Silk, Helix is customizable in color, material, shape and size.
