Roku, a leading technology company, relocated their office to the heart of Manhattan with their logo prominently displayed on the newly renovated 5 Times Square building. The Switzer Group designed a technology centric environment, merging the robust connectivity of the city’s landmarks and transportation system mirrored with Roku’s framework, creating the concept “New York Network”. The metallic finishes, custom wayfinding, and purple accents are strategically incorporated to align with the program and overall concept on a micro to macro scale.

Switzer is incredibly proud to have our recent Roku Santa Monica office design nominated for this year's Calibre Design Awards!

Roku’s request for their new office was to be exciting, yet sophisticated, inspire local flare, and to create an impactful first impression at the main entrance. This new flagship office blends their brand standards and iconic Roku imagery along with the Santa Monica environment, incorporating the colors of the sunset and a beachy aesthetic.

Los Angeles, a prime destination for beaches and entertainment, generated an exciting opportunity for Switzer's design team to create an office that merged local culture with the Roku brand through the concept of “Tech by the Ocean”.

Thank you to the entire team that was involved and congratulations to all of our fellow talented nominees!
