Sometimes it’s easy to forget what shopping small and local actually means.

The Original LA Flower Market isn’t one big company. Our market is made up of independent vendors, family businesses, growers, wholesalers and people who have spent years (and for some, generations) building their businesses in the floral industry.

There are real people behind these stalls. People waking up VERY early, unloading flowers, filling buckets, helping customers, taking orders and doing all the little things you probably never see when you come in to buy your flowers.

We know there are easier ways to shop now. You can order almost anything from your phone without ever leaving the house.

But every time you decide to come downtown, walk through our doors and buy from one of our vendors, you’re choosing to support the people who keep this market going.

And we really, really appreciate that.

So yes, you’re coming here for the flowers… but your money goes a lot further than the bunch you take home. 🌸

A Market visit works a little differently from shopping at a traditional store. You’ll pay a small admission fee when you enter, then shop directly with our independently operated vendors throughout the Market.

Each vendor handles their own transactions, so payment options can vary. Many accept cards or mobile payments, while others may prefer or require cash. We recommend bringing both so you’re prepared.

And when it comes to parking, our parking structure on San Julian St. between 7th & 8th Streets is just steps from the Market and credit card payments are now accepted. 🚗💳

Security, controlled entry, convenient parking, and a clean, organized environment are all part of making your Market experience as smooth and welcoming as possible.
