A V A I L A B L E - this gorgeous 12 drawer dresser was in perfect shape when I got it, only some scratches on top and chipped veneer on sides. So, I came up with an idea inspired by MCM color palette and designs to create something unique and special. It is all built in solid wood, complete covered with teak veneer, even inside of the dresser. I believe that legs and handles are either teak or walnut. All other parts are solid brass, that’s shining back again after some polishing. As a finish I applied 2 coats of pure tung oil to bring teak’s beautiful natural color(each coat cured at least 3 days) and after I decided to apply polyurethane for durable and long lasting finish (since tung oil only does need to be recoated every once in a while). I found the makers stamp from the bottom, Made in Japan by company Pacific, February 1967. I would love to know more about this manufacturer if anyone has more information. I took serious time to finish this piece and I would love to hear your opinion.
