All too often a host is so busy behind the scenes that they can't relax and enjoy the party. Book your event with us, and you won't have to lift a finger. When you walk into our 1922 classic colonial in Los Feliz — a stone's throw from the heart of Hollywood — you’re stepping back into a time when life moved at a slower pace. Whether you’re hosting a sit-down dinner for 12 or a cocktail party for

100, Oxford House provides the comfort of home with the amenities of a country inn. Our space is romantic, chic and casually elegant. We host all kinds of events, including:

•birthdays •weddings
•baby showers •engagement parties
•b’nai mitzvahs •business retreats


We offer a range of catering options, including our two delicious in-house caterers, Sugarbird Sweets and Los Luis (the best taco bar in town!), and we can provide a stocked bar. We’re also fully equipped with tents, seating, tables and cloths, decor, vases, coffee urns, candles, lighting, music and roaring fireplaces. We collaborate with a talented team of florists, photographers, bartenders, servers and other vendors. Tell us what you need, and we’ll do our best to provide it.

That’s me introducing and talk about Helen’s portraiture by sharing the first portrait I ever fell in love with—my Grandma Honey. At three years old I told her I wanted it when she died and when she turned 90 she gave it to me! And passed away three years later. It was a very fun afternoon and a big thank you to Ezrha Jean Black for leading an insightful discussion and to Helen Chung for opening up about her practice. PEOPLE: The Portraiture of Helen Chung is open thru Saturday, January 17.
