Designing in Los Angeles + beyond The central belief behind Stay Interiors is that beautifully designed spaces improve our daily lives. Nishia designs all areas of the home with this in mind, whether it is creating a nursery from a home office, a spare bedroom into a guest suite retreat, a neglected dining room into a place where the family gathers, a dated bathroom into a relaxing oasis.

The subtle tonal variation in the glazed terracotta tile and two-tone cabinets keep this kitchen feeling fresh, balanced, and inviting.

Taking color inspiration from the vintage rug, the olive green paint and wallpaper add just the right amount of fun into this kiddo’s room. We added just a few new pieces that pull it all together and it’s ready for playing, crafting, and more!

This ADU bathroom isn’t short on the good things: pretty tile, layered textures, natural light (thanks to a skylight), and good art. Summer vibes forever! ☀️

The elements of a good kitchen design: a color palette that compliments the home, warm wood, handmade lighting, and a bit of marble. Now you have a space that feels really good to live in!

We carved out a Jack and Jill bathroom for guests and future kiddos in this Los Angeles home. It strikes just the right balance between playful and polished!

3 details that make this kitchen feel thoughtfully designed. Save this for your future kitchen!

1. A layout that is natural to move through. We reimagined the layout of this galley kitchen that is now more functional and safe (previously the cooktop was right next to the fridge and it was causing burn marks!)

2. Hardware that feels fun! The U-pulls add a bit of unexpected playfulness to the kitchen.

3. Handmade lighting that adds a little soul. Incorporating decorative lighting is a no-brainer, and when it’s a handmade ceramic shade like these, it just adds that extra character!

Pull up a stool and stay awhile! ☀️

A bifold window opens completely to create one continuous countertop from the inside out! Perfect for entertaining or long afternoons under the pergola.
