What’s in my bag? A little bit of vet med things and a little bit of small business stuff. I am always trying to carry both sides of my jobs at once.

Being a vet tech and running a small business means my bag has to keep up with both sides of my life. From the everyday essentials I use at work to the little things that help me keep Little Chai Designs running, there’s a little bit of everything in here.

And what you don’t see is the 2 cups I carry on each hand, my lunch bag and a bunch of other stuff… but hey GIRL GRIP!!! 🤣

The outside pocket is my Grab-and- Go pocket. Where I keep my vitals badge buddies, reference cards, pocket organizer with my pens, my scissors and hemostats.

I just grab them and attach them to my scrubs and I am good to go for my shift. I keep my stethoscope in my locker at work.

What I have inside my bag… well that is pure chaos 🤣

I have a tripod, my wallet, my wrist support, my meta glasses, a tiny pouch with extra pens, hand lotion-my hands get really dry with all the washing I do at work- extra scrunchy, and lastly a cosmetic bag with supplies like panty liners, eye drops, hands sanitizer and other random stuff.

Last but not least! My fun little companions

My star of the show is my cute Dragon that I bonded at threshing day . Her name is Aolaegh and she is a Red Swordtail 💕 she was created by Calypso's Creatures and Crafts

Then I have a labubu, another cute dragon and my super cute dog Erwin’s face who a coworker made for me

The long shifts, the steady hands, the endless multitasking, the little victories, the difficult goodbyes, and all the moments in between. You show up every day for patients who can’t tell you where it hurts, giving them comfort, compassion, and a voice when they need one most.

Your job is so much more than what people see. It takes knowledge, strength, patience, resilience, and a heart that keeps choosing to care, even on the hardest days.

To every vet tech who has ever stayed a little longer, given an extra cuddle, fought for a patient, or carried a case home in their heart: thank you. The work you do matters. The lives you touch matter. And YOU matter, too. 🐾❤️

Okay, but hear me out… why should girlfriends get all the boo baskets? 😂🎃

Vet Tech Week happens to fall (you see what I did there 😉) during spooky season, so I decided vet techs deserve their own little Boo Basket moment. 🩺🧡

I started putting one together and then, naturally, I got distracted by all the animals. 😂
