1978.
Tube Socks.
Dolphin Gym shorts.
Farrah Fawcett feathered wings
And the sport Dorothy Hamilton wedge cut.
Jack O’Shea spinning The Cars on WKEE reminding us to turn so we don’t burn.
All the while, stretched out on a webbed aluminum folding chair drenched in Baby Oil and Iodine.
And an unsuspecting teenage Jamie will soon get her first car: a 1972 very used red Camaro with black top and a headliner that fell at random moments blinding said driver.
