a sliver of soul, a drop of blood.

For a brief moment, you get to hold that creation, see it clearly, and know it deeply. But it’s no longer yours to keep.

Over the years, I’ve tried to hold on to many of my pieces because I loved them so much. But they always found their way into the world—where they truly belong.
