Myth: Your kitchen and dining furniture have to match perfectly. ✋

Fact: Some of the most beautiful, collected-feeling kitchens mix metals, materials, and styles intentionally. The trick is to find one element that connects them, like a shared finish, wood tone, or leg style.

Matching everything used to be the rule. Now contrast is the design move.

Would you mix metals in your kitchen? 👇

3 ways to make your entryway feel like a real room this summer. 🌿

Add a surface. Even a small console gives you somewhere to drop keys, set down a bag, or style a little vignette.

Go vertical. A mirror or piece of art draws the eye up and makes the space feel bigger instantly.

Bring in something living. A plant, even a small one, completely changes the energy of an entryway.

Which of these would you try first? 👇

Working from home this summer? Your setup matters more than you think. 🌱

One quick tip that makes a huge difference: position your desk so natural light hits from the side, not directly behind or in front of your screen. It reduces glare AND fatigue, which means you actually feel better at the end of the day.

Small change, big impact. 🙌

Here's something most people don't think about until it's too late: barstool height actually has a formula. 🪑

For a comfortable seat, you want about 9 to 13 inches between the top of your stool and the underside of your counter or island. Counter height surfaces (36") need a counter stool. Bar height surfaces (42") need a bar stool. They're not interchangeable!

Save this before you shop so you don't end up with stools that don't fit. 📐

Did you know? 🤔 The average person spends roughly 1/3 of their life in their bedroom, yet the bedroom is often the LAST room people invest in when furnishing a home.

Your sleep environment directly affects your mood, energy, and productivity. A well-designed bedroom isn't a luxury, it's a foundation. 🙌

Here's something a lot of people don't realize until after they've already bought: furniture quality is mostly about what's INSIDE, not outside. 🪵

Solid wood frames outlast particleboard by years. Eight-way hand-tied coils in a sofa hold their shape longer than sinuous springs. High-density foam keeps its comfort longer than low-density.

You can't always see these things on the surface, but you can ask about them. Don't be shy. These questions are exactly what furniture associates are there for!
