If a Saturday morning at the orchard had a scent, this would be it.

Fresh apple c***r, buttery dough, and vanilla—basically the smell of walking into the farm stand and immediately realizing you’re going home with more donuts than you planned on buying. 🍎🍩 No regrets.

As much as we love it, we know that not every fall scent needs to smell like pumpkin.

Foggy Grove is cool, quiet, and a little mysterious—soft green florals layered with warm sandalwood and musk.

It feels like a foggy morning in the woods, when everything is still and the trees seem just a little more magical. 🌫️🌿

Meanwhile, we’re already getting holiday wholesale orders, pulling out the Christmas fragrance oils, and starting to pour our holiday candles. 🎄🕯️

And I’m over here like… can we please slow down?
I still need more PSLs, bonfire nights, apple picking, corn mazes, crisp morning walks, hayrides, pumpkin patches, and leaves that have barely even started to turn. 🍎🍁

I love the holidays. I REALLY do. But I’m just not ready to let go of fall yet.

So if you need me, I’ll be over here pretending December is much farther away than it actually is.

Some fall scents don’t need an introduction.

Pumpkin. Nutmeg. Clove. Cinnamon.

The candle equivalent of pulling on your favorite sweater, grabbing something warm to drink, and deciding you’re absolutely not going anywhere for the rest of the evening. 🎃🍂

Still feeling incredibly grateful — and honestly, a little overwhelmed in the best way — to be part of the 40 Under 40 Class of 2026.

There are so many incredible people in this class, and getting to celebrate alongside them was such a special experience. I’m especially grateful to share it with my friend Macy of 48 Fields | Loudoun County Wedding Venue and Macy Schilling and so many other people who are doing amazing things in our community.

But one of the most meaningful parts of the night was getting to celebrate with the people who have supported me along the way — my family, my friends, and someone who played a very special role in the story of Loudoun Wicks.

Jamie of Abilene Candle Co. was the person who encouraged me to start Loudoun Wicks in the first place. She shared what she had learned, answered countless questions, helped me get started, and has continued to be someone I’m incredibly grateful for. I truly wouldn’t be where I am today without her friendship, encouragement and everything she taught me.

Starting a business can feel like a very personal journey, but looking around that room reminded me just how many people become part of the story along the way.
Feeling very lucky to have been included in this class, and even luckier to have had so many of my favorite people there to celebrate with me.

Rainy days like this make me want to light every candle in the house. Add a fire in the fireplace—or a bonfire once the rain clears—and suddenly it really starts to feel like fall.
