Anchal [on-chal] is a social enterprise that uses design thinking to create innovative products and sustainable employment that empower exploited women worldwide. Our eco-friendly products are made from hand-selected vintage materials, organic fibers and low-impact dyes. Anchal is committed to producing the highest quality home goods & accessories while maintaining the integrity of our artisans and natural resources. Distinct design, craftsmanship and a personal signature connect you to the individual maker and her story. Our products were sold in Urban Outfitters nationwide, and featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Better Homes & Gardens, Huffington Post and GOOD Magazine.

Today, every donation to Anchal is matched dollar for dollar during Give for Good Louisville.

For 16 years, more than 400 women in Ajmer, India, have earned dignified employment through Anchal. They use their income to nourish their families, build homes, and send their children to school. One stitch at a time.

The cost of sustaining this work has never been higher. Artisan wages, materials, and tariffs have all increased, and we’re committed to absorbing those costs rather than passing them on to the women who make this work possible.

Today, your support helps us do that.

We're hiring! 💛 Anchal is looking for someone to join our small Louisville team.

If you've ever admired the care that goes into one of our quilts, this is a chance to be part of it. Our artisans in India create each piece by hand, building independent lives through their craft. Here in Louisville, our team makes sure that work reaches customers with the same care it was made with, right down to the thank-you note in every box. We're looking for the person who will help us do exactly that.

The role is available full-time or part-time, depending on your experience and availability. They will cover inventory, fulfillment, and our stockroom (with e-commerce added on the full-time side).
