After twenty years of living in New York, and after twenty years of creating beautiful interiors in the NYC/NJ/CT region and in many parts of the US, Chris Welsh is happily back in his hometown of Louisville,KY. TGIF. Let’s take a moment. Step off the hamster wheel of life. Turn off all the outside noise. Get some rest. Iatesta Studio Handmade Furniture & Lighting four-post bed with Garnet Hill embroidered bed linens, donghia green linen chenille pillow, Ferrick Mason print pillow and an Anchal Project green throw at the foot of the bed. Happy Fall, y’all! Here’s a shot with an Autumnal vibe, to start the season of sweater weather. A Christopher Spitzmiller, Inc. lamp topped with a shade hand painted by Judy Mulligan sits atop an amazing 19th-century commode with its original paint and patina. The painting is part of my fabulous clients’ collection, also 19th-century. In the background, the black papier mache chair is part of a pair, and the smoke bell ceiling fixture is The Urban Electric Co. . Can’t you just smell the pumpkin spice in the air ?! 🍁 🍂

Can you feel it ? Spring is just around the corner ! We’re letting the light shine in today, onto this serene dining spot. A newly painted vintage dining table surrounded by 19th-century chairs, with a sisal below and a lantern above. The pieces flanking the windows are 1940’s hand colored botanicals.
