Swope Design Group is a successful multidisciplinary design firm established in 1989 by noted designer Ann L. Swope. In 2000, the firm was joined by the accomplished designer and educator, Jennifer Dumesnil. We have experience with the Interior Design of virtually every type of commercial project, with special expertise in corporate, educational, retail, restaurant, and hospitality environments. We are also leading designers of environmental graphics and wayfinding programs for large and small-scale facilities, campuses, and branded environments. We frequently collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, graphic designers, fabricators, and other consultants and suppliers who contribute to the process of designing, building and outfitting environments. Several Swope Design Group designers have been certified by the National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) and are also Kentucky Certified Interior Designers (KYCID). These designers are educated and experienced in creating environments that protect the public’s health, safety and welfare. We also have LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified designers on staff who are well-versed in environmentally sustainable design as recommended by the U.S. Green Building Council. Swope Design Group is a certified Minority Woman Business Enterprise (MWBE). We are also a fully independent design firm - independent meaning we never solicit or accept commissions on the products, materials, or services that we specify. This ensures better design, no hidden costs, and greater responsiveness to our clients. Our staff of six highly trained professional designers have extensive experience in both the public and private sectors. Those designers are supported by a talented administrative staff and leading-edge technologies such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Adobe Suite. We are also proficient with construction administrative software such as PlanGrid and PROCORE. Additionally, Swope Design Group’s resource library is one of the region’s most comprehensive and current.
