Here’s something that catches a lot of our clients off guard: Medicare Part B may cover 80% of the cost of a lift chair’s motorized lifting mechanism — but only that mechanism, typically $250 to $300 of it, after your deductible. The chair itself — the part you’re actually going to sit in for hours every day — isn’t covered.

We think that’s backwards. The lifting mechanism gets used for a few seconds, just long enough to help you stand. The chair is where you’ll spend your time — reclining, resting, probably sleeping some nights.

So that’s where we focus. We fit you to a recliner built for true zero gravity positioning, the kind that actually shifts your weight so your lumbar spine can decompress and your legs rise above your heart — not just a comfortable recline. We size it to you, and we help you decide if heat, vibration, or air massage would help even more.

Kentucky residents with a prescription qualify for sales tax exemption on the purchase, too.

We serve Louisville and the surrounding region — Southern Indiana, Lexington, Bowling Green, Cincinnati, and Indianapolis.

Your chair is waiting.

We believe everyone deserves to feel at ease in their own body, to end the day restored, not worn down.

That's why we do things differently. We take the time to understand what you need, then let you experience the solution for yourself before you ever decide.

The Perfect Chair by Human Touch is one of our favorite ways to deliver that. One gentle recline takes you into zero gravity, raising your legs above your heart and taking the pressure off your lower back. From uptight to all right.

Stop by Relax The Back Louisville at The Paddock Shops, settle in, and feel the difference for yourself. Your chair is waiting.

This October brings two reasons to rethink your posture: Healthy Spine Month and National Ergonomics Month.

It's easy to chalk up aches and stiffness to getting older, but often the way we sit, sleep, work, and move plays a bigger role than we realize. Hours at a desk without proper lumbar support, a sleep setup that doesn't support your spine, or too little time to rest and recover can all add up.

The good news is that thoughtful changes can help you feel more comfortable every day. Visit your local Relax The Back and speak with a Wellness Expert. We'll take the time to understand what you're experiencing, let you try different options in person, and guide you toward solutions that support a healthier spine.

Which head shape are you?

Swipe through to find out. Kanuda makes four cervical pillow models, and the difference isn't marketing — it's your neck's actual curve.

Piano Air — low and firm, made for rounder head shapes.
Primo Air — elevated and soft, made for slightly rounded head shapes.
Largo — our softest option, made for flatter head shapes.
Andante — gentle and extended, made for longer necks.

Every visit at Relax The Back Louisville includes a real pillow fitting, so you're never guessing which one is yours. Not sure? Take a loaner home first, no cost, no obligation, and test it for a few nights before deciding.

What do you have to lose, except another poor night's sleep?

One store. Five ways to feel better.

Whether it's the mattress you're tossing and turning on, the desk chair giving you a new ache by 3pm, the recliner that still leaves your legs swollen and your back aching by the end of the night, the chair that makes standing up harder than it used to be, or the tension you're carrying in your shoulders — chances are, the fix isn't resignation. It's about finding what actually works for your body.

At Relax The Back Louisville, we help you find real relief across sleep, recliners, lift chairs, office ergonomics, and massage. No guessing, no catalog shopping — just a personal fitting to match you with the solution that fits.

Come see us in the Paddock Shops. We've got the right tool for whatever's bothering you.

Furniture Today's readers have voted Cozzia a winner every year since the program began — Best Massage Chair Supplier in 2021 and 2022, Best Components Supplier in 2023, and Best Massage Chair Company in 2024 and 2025. Five years, five wins.

We didn't need the trophy to tell us Cozzia belongs on our floor. We chose to carry them because we believe they make one of the best massage chairs available, and it turns out the whole industry keeps agreeing with us.

Here's the thing about massage chairs, though: you can't shop for one from a photo. Pressure, roller pattern, how a recline actually feels against your back — those are things you have to experience, not read about. That's what we're here for. Tell us where you carry tension, how you sit, what you're hoping to feel, and we'll walk you straight to the chair that fits, instead of leaving you to guess.

Right now through September 30, three Cozzia chairs are on sale at Relax The Back Louisville:

Quantum — our most complete experience, 73 airbags, and a recline that goes nearly flat for a real stretch.
Qi XE Pro — built for tension with a specific address, like a stiff lower back or tight shoulders from a desk job.
Fusion Pro — full-body relief at our most approachable price.

Come feel the difference a trusted brand and a team that actually knows these chairs makes. We're here to help you find the right one, not just sell you one.
