I know I say it all the time, but this is truly a favorite 🤩 new (to her) everything for this gorgeous historic home. Paint. Molding. Furnishings. Art. Lighting. 🪄

He’s pretty much perfect. Also, here’s a pretty room 🤎 Some old (secretary desk and rug), some new (green sofa), collected art + objects from my client’s travels (like the baleen and ballerina slippers), the piano (yes they play) and countless other details. Loved this one so much! 📸 Kate Leichhardt

Probably not what you’re here for, but maybe you enjoy it anyway. I strongly believe that fashion styling and interior design run parallel. You can express your personality with just one special detail- in your outfit or your home. Collective haul from a mix of shops- listing some below in case you’re looking for something different too. , , , , , ,

Swipe for the rainbow 🌈 (but seriously- if the brief doesn’t include color, I’ll question your ability to have FUN with your home). Anywho. Add a bit of rainbow y’all and happy Friday.

Something these all have in common: they reflect a lot of the person who lives there, a bit of me, and don’t scream trendy. Just a pretty space for a lovely family. 🤎 Happy Thursday.

I love this space. I love this dog. Love this client. Loved this project. Design Kentucky Rose Designs , remodel and custom cabinetry Elevate Design + Build, LLC for Velvet Swan Vintage 💚💚💚

(Swipe for the before) ➡️ Kept the perimeter cabinets. New hood. Panel ready appliances. New tops. Reworked island completely. New hand forged pendants in the appropriate scale. Ditched the 90s desk for a coffee bar. Mixed metals. Refinished floors. Kinda feels like she’s always been this way, and that’s the whole point. Design and styling yours truly. If it’s not collected and layered I don’t want it. 📸 Kate Leichhardt

How many books will fit on here? Asking for a friend. 📚 Thank you Elevate Design + Build, LLC for bringing my design to life, for the months of hard work building this massive custom home library + out of town install. Cannot wait to style her.
