Amanda Jacobs Design Inc

Amanda Jacobs Design Inc To provide meaningful design is not to parody history, but to articulate it. The result, at its pinnacle, will evoke lush comfort and sophistication.

Amanda Jacobs Design is a commercial and residential design house based in Louisville, Kentucky. We offer fully comprehensive design services curating warm, and intriguing spaces for individuals and the public to experience. Applying unique concepts, a mix of antiques and striking modern objects, rich earth tones, textures, and old world beauty, a meld of something new and utterly expressive is created. AJD draws upon the client’s personality and needs, and finds from their travels, tradition and culture. We create spaces that feel collected over time and inherently livable, wedded to form and function.

THE INTERIOR COLLECTIVE // S7:E8

This episode ignites something fierce in me…a reminder of why I ever started designing in the first place. For me and my team, it’s never just about how a space looks. It’s about the soul, the strange little vibration that greets you the moment you walk in.

Our hope is always the same: that people cross the threshold and feel instantly welcomed, held, understood in some wordless way by the room itself.

Design can be beautiful and set the tone-it’s a vital ingredient in the recipe. But hospitality as a whole? That’s the spark, the heartbeat, the alchemy that transforms walls and furniture into a world you actually want to live in.

Beyond what’s seen, there’s what’s felt.

The invisible layers of design shape how you remember a space, leaving you with a memory you’ll want to revisit.

We design for those details
the ones you can’t always name, but never forget.
