Adorable and Affordable DIY Father's Day gift for under $5

Can we make an affordable Father's Day gift that little hands can help create? 🥹🎨💙
I honestly wasn't sure this idea would work… but I gave it a try anyway.
I uploaded a photo into ChatGPT, asked it to turn it into a coloring book image, then had it create an SVG cut file for my Cricut. I held my breath through the cutting process… and to my surprise, it worked BEAUTIFULLY. ✨
The Siser EasyWeed Puff HTV weeded like butter, gave the sweetest 3D effect, and pressed perfectly onto canvas using my favorite pro tip: place a pressing pillow or folded towel behind the canvas for even pressure.
Now your little one can watercolor their masterpiece and proudly gift Daddy something made with tiny hands and a whole lot of love. 🫶
This might just be my favorite affordable Father's Day gift yet.

I bought an inexpensive quilt with one goal: teach myself how to sew and see just how many things I can create from a single quilt! 🧵✨

From tote bags and makeup bags to overnight bags and travel accessories, we're turning this beginner sewing project into the ultimate DIY challenge.

Will my imagination run out first... or the quilt? 🤔

And if this works, I think that officially means I need to plan a trip to show off all my handmade creations. ✈️

I grabbed a little fabric, some Mod Podge, and a tiny bit of imagination… and turned them into the CUTEST Mickey & Minnie sneakers ever 🐭🎀
First, I traced out my fabric pieces and carefully glued them onto the canvas shoes. Then I sealed everything down with Mod Podge so they’re park-day ready ✨
Honestly… these look straight out of Main Street USA 🏰❤️
And the best part? You can totally customize them to match YOUR Disney vibe 💫
