A Grand Re-opening is officially in the works! 🚦

I know a lot of you have already wrapped up your KITT builds, but for the rest of us still turning wrenches and taking our time, I’m here for you!

Here is what’s happening in the shop right now:

Finally, I want to reassure anyone with an outstanding order: (rather it was returned because of non-delivery, or you're just waiting for single parts to complete your order, even you sponsored guys... getting those resolved is my top priority. I’m a man of my word, and I strive to do right by this community. Every single order will be taken care of.

Hey everyone,

I know I have a lot of unanswered emails and messages out there right now, and I want to sincerely apologize for the silence.

Part of the delay was due to a terrible issue with my old email server, my messages were literally disappearing from the server between the time I saw them on my phone and sat down at my PC to reply. It honestly had me thinking I was going crazy. This issue has been fixed for a few weeks, but I do ask that you use the new email rather then the old .com email. The main reason for my absence though, is that things have been completely overwhelming in my personal life.

Right before Thanksgiving, we tragically lost my father-in-law. He had been battling lung cancer and things were looking really positive, but he developed a blood clot in his leg after his final radiation treatment and passed away in his sleep. We are still picking up the pieces from that loss, which has unfortunately been compounded by an unexpected and stressful legal battle with estranged family over his estate.

However, the most difficult blow happened recently when my wife, Erika, had a severe allergic reaction to a new prescription. Tragically, it caused an arterial blood clot in her right leg. She has been in the ICU for four weeks now and has already been through five surgeries. She is currently awaiting her sixth and seventh procedures with the vascular and plastic surgery teams, and is waiting to have her leg amputated.

Despite all of this, I want to reassure you about the shop: if I have inventory listed on the website, it is available to ship. I am still shipping out current orders on time. I just haven't had the time or capacity to work on new inventory or new products. I do have a batch of Hot Wheels ready to go, and I will have another big batch of the regular variant soon.

I can't thank you all enough for your understanding and patience during this deeply difficult time. I will one day return full force with a big restock and two new products, but right now, I just need a few more weeks to help my family readjust to our new reality at home.

I'm not a particularly religious person myself and it's not that I don't believe, I just don't practice. But if you are, and if you can forgive my ignorance, I am asking you to please pray for my wife, Erika.

Holidays are a time for family, and losing a loved one right now has been especially tough. Thank you all for the grace you’ve shown me while I navigate this.

Unfortunately, I’ve had some major technical issues with my email server. It was down for the last 72 hours, and a few questions regarding parts inventory were lost in the glitch. If you reached out and haven’t heard back, please resend your email so I can get you taken care of!

Our long awaited installation guide for our product line is almost ready, and the launch of the new website is looking great for tonight/tomorrow. As always a huge thanks to Nick Nugent for licensing the use of his artwork to us! While this book will be free and available in PDF, I will be offering a professionally printed version on glossy magazine paper for $5 (my cost) that will match the scale of the Fanhome books - if you're into collecting these things like I am.

I’ve been getting reports that parts of the website aren’t working for everyone. After spending so much time managing and troubleshooting issues with WordPress—including daily battles with hackers and bugs from my own design experiments—I’ve decided to move to a managed service with Shopify (your account should transfer automatically). I'll let them manage security, and protect us up to $150k in any hacking damages. This will let me focus on what I actually enjoy: making parts, not fixing website problems.

The new website will be at kennethtoysltd.com, and I aim to have everything transferred by next weekend. Once the move is complete, thekightrider.com will automatically redirect you to the new site. For now, the current website is still functional, but it works best on a traditional PC. I’m working on improving that experience right now. Thanks for your patience during this transition.
