Yes, they ACTUALLY taste good!

Your decorated cookies can be literal works of art, but I think if a customer is going to pay for custom cookies, they should taste even better than they look!

Often I find that people think that decorated sugar cookies are going to be hard and flavorlessā€”Iā€™ve worked hard to fight against this misconception and have developed cookies that taste and look like luxury!

This is my verrrry roundabout way of announcing that Iā€™m now offering custom cookies in milk chocolate in addition to classic vanilla. Iā€™m so excited for you to try it! Itā€™s soft and chocolatey and like biting into a brownie except in cookie form! šŸ«

And just in case this reaches the wrong corner of the internet: I am not, nor am I trying to be ā€œan influencer.ā€ I am but a humble midwestern mom who makes cookies and have fun and sometimes puts them on the internet. Thatā€™s it.

Yesterday I spent lots of time in my garden preparing everything for spring. I spotted a new tunnel under my shed dug by Peter Rabbit or his friends. And unlike Mr. McGregor, I wonā€™t harm my cute little bunny friends! šŸ°

I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever given these beauties their close ups on the grid, but the three year anniversary of the Eras Tour seems like as good a time as any!

Last year, I made cookies of Taylorā€™s outfits of the night I attended. I still have them sitting on a tray in my cookie roomā€”I have plans to preserve them and frame themā€¦maybe that will happen on the fourth anniversary šŸ¤£

I canā€™t be the only one, right?

As a cookie decorator, I get inspired by all kinds of things, from wall paper to dishes to gold club covers to birthday cards. At least once a day, I will think to myself ā€œI can cookie that!ā€ (And yes, ā€œcookieā€ is a verb šŸ¤£)

I had the best time making these cookies for my nephewā€™s birthday. Itā€™s become a tradition of his to have a movie themed birthday party, and he has great taste in film!

I adore How to Train Your Dragon, mostly because I think toothless is the cutest sweetest most perfect goodest boy ever, and he reminds me of my very own Night Fury, my black cat Goose! šŸ–¤
