Woodworking projects I am not the Craftsman my father was.

My projects never come out as I initially visioned them, because the Engineer in me makes them better as I go, fixes mistakes that do not fit the initial vision, and sometimes the wood grain just wants to show off.

I am lucky to have these wonderful women in my life. They love making this world a little brighter one flower at a time, so I have made flower garden markers for them!

Cigar tube, holds a 7” long cigar, air tight to keep your cigar fresh. Plastic interior sleeve with Walnut and Oak exterior.

35 golf coarse signs done and ready to be delivered. It was a fun little project.

This morning I did my first real lathe work since my eye surgery. All went well as far as the eyes were concerned, the bowl jumped out of the Cole chuck once so there are a couple dings. Life is full of dings so all is good!
Usually I would turn the k**b, but today for a change of pace I used a drawer pull, may have to do that again I like it.

Just delivered a hostess station to a local eatery. It is so great when your vision and hard work result into something better than the customer thought it would be.
Woodworking is a great retirement gig, keeps you challenged, busy, and adds some pocket change.
