Come spend the day creating something special in our cool, air-conditioned studio! We’re open for walk-in painting from 11:00 to 5:00pm.

We’re excited to unbox our newest shipment of ready-to-paint ceramics this morning, filled with fun new pieces for all ages. Plus, we have two full kiln loads of freshly fired projects that were painted over the last week, and they turned out absolutely beautiful!

Whether you’re looking for a fun family activity, a creative afternoon with friends, or just an escape from the heat, we’d love to see you.

Looking for a fun night out with friends? Come sip, paint, and create with us at Grounded Roots Coffee House! Each guest will paint their own ceramic planter and receive a handcrafted macramé plant hanger to take home. Customize your planter with your favorite colors and designs, and we’ll take care of the glazing and firing for you.

If you’re looking for something fun to do with your kiddos, bring them in to paint something special. We have hundreds of pottery pieces to choose from, and no reservations are needed for walk-in painting.

As school years around our county come to an end, we want to give a HUGE thank you to all of the classes, teachers, preschools, and daycare groups that brought their students in for field trips this spring! We have welcomed over a dozen classes since spring break, and it has truly been such a joy watching all of the creativity come to life in our studio. 🎨💛

If your class, daycare group, preschool, or childcare program would like to paint Father’s Day mugs, tomorrow is the deadline for us to place additional mug orders!

🩵 Deadline to paint Father’s Day projects in studio: Friday, June 12
🩵 All pieces painted by June 12 will be ready for pickup no later than Saturday, June 20

We are open for walk-in ceramic painting Wednesday through Saturday from 11 AM–5 PM. No reservations needed — just come create! 😊

Whether you chose pickup at Small Town Ceramics in Lower Lake or at Grounded Roots Coffee House in Hidden Valley Lake, your pieces are ready — and I have to say, these are some of the most beautiful pieces I’ve ever pulled out of the kiln! Every single one turned out amazing. 💛
