🧡🧡🧡 busy weekend … I feel like time simply slips through my fingers most days … do you feel like that? Does time EVER slow down for us? What I know is that we blink - and the minute, the hour, the day, the weekend … it’s behind us. I heard/saw someone post a reel with an audio reminding us that in the year 2123 - we will all be on the other side of Life and that someone else will own our things, live in our homes, etc … and that we will be a memory (but only really for our grandkids … after that, not many will truly know us) - it made me sad to listen to it. It made me sad that time is so precious and we can’t get it back. It made me sad all together. Anyway - I hope that by giving some of these old pieces new life in our homes - we are able to somehow revive the memory of those original owners in some small way. It is probably silly to think of it that way - but I really do. I hope that our excitement and positive energy about these old finds makes some sort of positive impact …. Am I even making sense. Probably not. It’s 10:13 PM, I think I am delirious 🧡🧡🧡 good night y’all!

Y’all … it actually felt like a cool fall day today — I think it’s happening … and the cooler temps just somehow justify my copper and pumpkins!!! 😂
But y’all, Phew, I am pooped. I had a long day “working” but it was so worth it. I was able to do a late night “pick” over at a friends barn and I pulled out the best piece that isn’t my normal - but as soon as I saw it I was able to envision exactly how I would stage it … I love it when that happens. It was too dark to get it out and show it to ya up close … but it’s really sweet. I also picked up a little white primitive table and a few other goodies. I am really trying to stock up lots of great finds for my October Sale. I do hope to see some of you there!
So so so happy and honored to have each one of you here with me.

Hey all,
Here she is…”sweet one”
She was very cute as is, but I decided to update her. I also decided she’d make a great accent table next to my bedroom chair as a reading nook. So, for now, I’ll be keeping it. I had some decoupage rice paper I had purchased recently so I added that to the front door for a little extra something special. I used a color sandstone on the body and gave her some distressing on the high points to show off her age.
The cabinet is perfect to hold books.
I’ll show her in her new space too.

Copper and white pumpkins - it’s a good mix. I’m actually going to bring a couple of these copper pieces to the Pasture sale next weekend.. 🙈 … and speaking of, today was BUSY - getting things boxed and tagged and cleaned and organized and … this sale that I have coming up next week is lots of work but you gotta love the job to get it done - and boy do I love it. In Instagram stories I shared a few more views of the items I am bringing to the sale that next weekend. It’s gonna be so much fun and I sure hope to see a few of you there.
