Meet Kinusaiga — the Japanese art of creating gorgeous pictures with fabric without sewing a single stitch. Because some of us like fabric, but we’re not about to commit to learning how to quilt. 😆

For our newest Glassyalley class, Japan meets West Texas as we turn colorful fabric into a beautiful landscape that looks painted — but isn’t!

No sewing. No paint. No experience required.

Join us at Glassyalley for a brand-new class and discover Kinusaiga, a Japanese-inspired art technique that uses pieces of fabric tucked into a design to create the look of a richly textured painting — no sewing required!

We’re giving this traditional technique a little West Texas personality, and you’ll create your own gorgeous fabric artwork while learning something completely different.

Just come ready to create.

At our Mosaic Bowl Workshop, you’ll start with a bowl and transform it with your own combination of color, glass and pattern. Pauline will be there with expert instruction to help you through every step.

All the materials are waiting for you.

And because a beautiful mosaic shouldn’t be rushed, your $125 registration includes additional studio sessions if you need them to complete your bowl.

At our Mosaic Bowl Workshop, you’ll choose the colors, glass and design that make your bowl completely your own.

And once it’s finished? Use it for keys by the door, jewelry on your vanity, a candle on the table — or simply put it somewhere you can enjoy looking at it.

Join us at Glassyalley for a hands-on mosaic workshop where you’ll design and create your own beautiful mosaic bowl. Choose your colors, create your pattern, and learn the techniques to bring it all together with expert instruction every step of the way.

Join us for The Mosaic Bowl Workshop on Sunday, August 23 from 10–2 at Glassy Alley.

You’ll design and create your own mosaic bowl using glass, tile, color, and pattern—guided step-by-step, no experience needed.

If you don’t finish in one day, you can come back and keep working until it’s done—no extra class fee.
