One little table… three different plans. 😂

Picture 1 was the outdated beginning.

Picture 2 was what I thought would be the finished look.

But apparently I have a condition called “just one more check syndrome.” 🤭

I couldn’t resist adding more checks, a little distressing, and that secret sealer that gives it that unmistakable Max style finish.

And honestly… I’m glad I gave in.

Sometimes furniture tells you when it’s not finished yet. ❤️

I’ve been playing with a new idea… this oversized striped frame with removable hand-painted wooden bows in my signature Max style. 🎀

Before I start creating more of these, I need your honest opinion!

✨ Would you use something like this in your home?
✨ Where would you display it?
✨ Front door? Gallery wall? Mantel? Seasonal decor?

The bows could easily be changed out for different holidays and seasons, which makes me think the possibilities are endless!

Who knew upholstery could get a makeover too? Annie Sloan Chalk Paint makes it possible, and the transformation is always so exciting.

Meet the newest member of the Max & Co. security team… this brass mouse with checked glasses and a pop of red! ❤️🖤🤍

Perched beneath our 12” checked letter “N” (and yes, we have EVERY letter available!), this little guy takes his job very seriously. He’s watching every hand wash, every lipstick touch-up, and every extra minute spent admiring yourself in the mirror. 👀😂

How cute would this be in a powder room? It’s the perfect mix of whimsy, personality, and a little bit of Max style charm.
