🌊 One hour. One mile. Six pounds of trash.

Today, we spent just one hour picking up garbage along one mile of Lake Michigan shoreline. By the end, we had collected a full Home Depot bucket—6 pounds of trash that otherwise could have remained on the beach or made its way into the lake.

It’s a reminder that small actions really do add up. ♻️

If you visit the shoreline, please pack out what you pack in and pick up after yourself. And if you see a piece of trash while you’re enjoying the beach, consider taking a moment to grab it and dispose of it properly.

Let’s all do our part to keep Lake Michigan’s shoreline clean and beautiful for everyone. 💙🌊
