Honored to see my Abraham Lincoln sculpture presented at the Lincoln Leadership Awards Reception.
To have a piece of my work placed in a formal, public setting alongside community leaders is a reminder of why I create these sculptures in the first place — to give form to legacy, character, and history. Grateful for the opportunity to see my work recognized in such a meaningful context.
This event was the 2026 Lincoln Leadership Awards Reception, hosted by the Erie County Republican Committee, honoring Assemblyman David DiPietro for his leadership and service. Seeing the sculpture present during the ceremony and displayed in the room among elected officials, community leaders, and guests gave the work a weight and presence that goes beyond the studio.
Moments like this are rare for an artist — when a piece leaves the workshop and becomes part of a real-world moment of recognition. I’m proud of the craftsmanship behind this sculpture and honored that it was included in an event dedicated to leadership, service, and public contribution.
