Family Owned & Operated Since 1978
Warehouse Carpets, Sole Proprietorship, opened in June of 1978. Our mission from the beginning was “To Provide Quality Floor Covering at Discount Prices” and that remains our mission today. During these past 40+ years, we have built a loyal base of customers who have faithfully come to us for their floor covering needs two and even three times, and to them, we will always be indebted.
In the early days, my Dad and Mom tended the store by day and cleaned and measured for floor covering by night. My parents continued their cleaning services until the shop started providing for their needs. My grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas E. Camp, Sr., had faith in the new business and provided the money to buy the land, and my Grandfather, Dad, and friends built the building. Without their help, there probably would never have been a Warehouse Carpets of Luthersville.
After experiencing some serious health issues, my Dad decided to retire and turn the business over to me in 2010. At that time, I assumed ownership and the business became a Limited Liability Corporation (LLC). My Dad continues to be my right-hand man – measuring and making runs to Dalton and Atlanta to pick up floor covering and supplies. My Mom, Kathy, continues as secretary. We have a few installer teams, and they do great work and are very reliable. We are very grateful for them; without their help and expertise, we would not be who we are today.
