Another couple Golden Oak Rescues in the books!

In the Laundry room we removed the popcorn texture, applied a smooth skip trowel texture then painted the ceiling a bright white. We painted the walls BM Winds Breath. We then prepped the cabinets and painted them BM Pashmina!

In the kitchen we also removed the popcorn texture, painted the ceiling and walls the same color scheme. Then refinished the cabinets with our moody warm grey.

We gave this sad looking fireplace a Much Needed Facelift!

We wanted to create the look of Wood, without stripping all the old paint off. So, First, the blue gray was painted over with a neutral color. We then added multiple layers of Duraseal and stains to create the look of Espresso stained wood.

We then sanded, primed and applied 2 coats of our Weathered Granite plaster, mixing in 4 different colors of Mica Flakes to the Dark green surround. Once the plaster was dry I sanded it, exposing the Mica, and showing off the sparkle! Everything got multiple clear coats for protection!
