I won’t be at any markets this weekend. It’s been a strange week, and I’m giving myself a little space to rest, reset, and take care of me. 💛
But before I disappear into my cocoon, I just have to say thank you.
Wednesday night at Rivermont Farmers Market was exactly what I needed. I felt so much love, so much kindness, and so many good vibes...and yes, the donuts absolutely helped. 😂 You all reminded me why I love doing this.
One of my favorite things about this little business is that you all somehow found me and decided you liked me exactly as I am. You show up for the oddball candle names, the questionable jokes, the slightly unhinged ideas (remember the candle that smelled like dog paws?), and all the goofy personality that ends up in this brand.
And I love that about you, too.
I love your weird. I love your stories, your personalities, your strange scent obsessions, your sense of humor, and the way you walk up to my tent and immediately feel like my kind of people.
Shopping small is about so much more than buying a candle.
When you choose to spend your money with a local maker, artist, farmer, baker, or small business, you’re supporting an actual person.
And every time you stop by my tent, bring a friend, share a post, tell someone about my candles, or choose to spend your hard-earned money with me, I feel it. Truly.
I have the best customers on the planet, and I love you guys more than you know. Thank you for loving the weird little human behind the candles and for letting me love the weird little humans that you are right back. 🥹
My next event will be Heart of Virginia in Farmville on September 12, but you won’t have to wait that long for Fall goodness.
🍂 Keep an eye out for FALL scents hitting the shelves soon at That’s Too Cute in Lynchburg and Appomattox and The Artisan’s Cove in Lynchburg.
Thank you for letting this little candle business exist. And thank you for bringing the vibes, the weird, and sometimes the donuts! 😁
