I’ve seen if you double fence an area then deer won’t jump over it. Ok game on! Let’s find out! Has anyone had luck with it? We weren’t going to even use our in ground garden this year, because the deer ate all of our spring garden, but if this works then I want to grow some food! I’m going to plant herbs around 3 sides of it to deter them even more but allow us to walk in without stepping on the herbs. If you were to start an experimental garden today in zone 7b what seeds would you plant?

Got 2 celebrity tomatoes today. This plant is really producing well.

Probably started these squash plants way too late, but they’re popping up! I didn’t see the point in even trying to plant the seeds, because I knew the squirrels would dig them up. Now I can’t remember if these were pumpkins or butternut squash 🤣

Homemade Play Dough
1 cup all purpose flour (if sticky add more)
1/4 cup salt
1 tablespoon cream of tartar
Optional 1/4 teaspoon of powdered colorant (may need more depending on what color you want)
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 tablespoon vegetable glycerin
3/4 cup boiling water (use dry measuring cup)

Whisk all dry ingredients together in a bowl. Mix in olive oil and vegetable glycerin. Lastly mix in boiling water. Mix with spoon until cool enough to knead with your hands.

If using plant based colorants store in the refrigerator. Should last up to a month. Discard if mold or smell appears.
