25 YEARS! I fell head over heels when I first saw you walking across that soccer field in South Africa when I was 17 years old, and I have not stopped falling for you since. Thank you for being an incredible dad to our girls, for putting in the hard work (cause 25 years of marriage is hard work!), and for always making me laugh. You are the spontaneity to my structure, the humor to my worry, the technical to my creative, and a physical daily reminder that no matter what happens in life, if I have you and the girls I have it ALL. I love doing life with you. Happy 25 years!

BEFORE & AFTER sunroom season edition! This sunroom had valuable square footage and beautiful views but was underused. So we fully acclimated and renovated the space, adding heating/cooling and pocket doors from the adjacent fireplace room, and layering in furnishings with all four seasons in mind. It extended this sunroom for year-round use and created space for gathering and a growing, extended family!

Meet the team! A University of Alabama graduate with a degree in interior design, Emily has a decade of experience in construction and design. After graduating from UA, she returned home to Charlottesville, where she worked as a project manager in construction and design.

A few years later, her creative ambitions led her west to Denver, drawn by its vibrant design community. There she worked as a designer at two large interior design firms and had the opportunity to collaborate with talented teams on a variety of unique residential and commercial projects.

While her projects took her across the country, her heart eventually drew her back to Virginia. Emily, her husband, their daughter, and their naughty cat now proudly call Lynchburg home.

Between the chaos of motherhood and her own home renovation projects, Emily recharges outdoors – skiing, fly fishing, and gardening – or enjoying live music with family and friends.

On site at this whole-home reno, and the basement demo is complete and fun surprises mean we are PIVOTING to capture this awesome space once lost behind the walls. Gonna be the coolest, oversized built-in sofa and lounge meets movie room and mahjong room and wine bar. Got the kids and adults covered!! No one is going to want to leave the basement. 😂
