I finally sent off this art trade so I can post! My friend Phoenix mentioned doing one with me a few months ago and it was the best suggestion ever. I met them at PAX a few years ago and they gave me the most amazing kandi cuff!

I tend to make things mostly for other people anyway but really finding some unique things that makes me think of them was so much fun. Thank you much!

Finished up my first ever tapestry!

This pattern by has been living in my head since the first time I saw it. Van Gogh has always been my favorite artist (cliché, I know). My husband even took me to his art museum in Amsterdam back in the day.

Here’s a little story time before the year ends.

Back in March I went to - a gaming convention for tabletops, video games and so much more. I decided to do a mini scavenger hunt with the Facebook group.

If someone spotted my mushroom hat in the crowd I’d give them a dice holder or a mushroom pop it. One lucky person could get the dice and they spotted me right as I walked in. 🤣

I was only crocheting for about 2 months when I took this project on. This is such a core memory for me at a time when I needed a little spark of joy in my life. ✨

This was also so far out of my comfort zone but I connected with such a cool group of genuine people who share the same love of games that I have. 💕
