We just had to share!
Hello Everyone,
I’ve never owned a brick-and-mortar business, so I have never had to close a business. First and foremost, I want to thank all of you for your well wishes, patronage, and friendship over the last 5 years. This shop has changed my life in such a positive way! I ask for your patience as I go through the closing process.
Here is an update on the state of the shop. The yarn is going faster than expected, the needles (especially 0-3 & 10-19) not so much. Think about those needles and what you could knit with a size US 0 or US 2 or what about a 17 or 19? The drop in inventory does not mean we do not have some great yarns left! Stop in to see if there is something for your next project. I need to move as much of it as possible, or my basement will be packed.
The days are much slower now and I find myself walking in circles, therefore I have made a few decisions that impact the shop. We will close our doors earlier than I originally announced and I plan to hand the keys over to the new owner at the end of April. In addition, four of us at Sunset Yarn will be taking a vacation this month. Yep, and because of that, we will be closed from March 13-March 24th. If all goes as planned and air travel is on time, we will reopen on March 25th with our new hours!
Beginning the week of March 22, our new hours will be:
Sunday – Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesdays: 11AM-5PM
Thursdays 12-7PM
Fridays: CLOSED
Saturdays: 10AM-2PM
Beginning March 25th, everything in the shop will be 35% off. But, if you mention this email before the 25th, we will give you the 35% of your purchase!
Again, that you for helping us make the Sunset Yarn community what it is.
~Lynette
