You can't control the weather, but you do get to select your vendors. โ†ชHow they handle weather can mean everything.

Take Lauren and Geoff's mid-August wedding as just one example from 2025's overly-dramatic weekend weather.
๐ŸŒง๏ธ 1 week before, our main flower supplier was wiped out as a result of epic flooding in Milwaukee. The supplier pivoted beautifully and we pivoted beautifully and no one involved with the wedding had any idea that we had to flex so skillfully. ๐Ÿ‹๐Ÿฝ
๐Ÿ’จ On Day Of, clouds loomed overhead as we built the chuppah; wind threatened to sweep our carts of flowers into Lake Michigan. No sir. Not today.
โšก๏ธ A short squall soaked and ruffled the flowers and the seats just before the guests arrived. The venue staff tended to the seats; we fluffed and repositioned the very hydrated blooms, rejoicing at how Andrew's custom clamps kept the chuppah in place securely through it all. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿป And the extra sandbags we brought didn't hurt either.
๐ŸŒฅ๏ธ Lauren + Geoff's ceremony took place in the most beautiful calm between storms, with glimpses of sun kissing their glowing faces while they exchanged vows.
โšก๏ธ Another storm blew in just as guests hurried inside for the reception. Our crew fought the front line winds as we took down the chuppah and transferred it inside for the reception; no small feat.
๐ŸŒˆ The storm blew through quickly, leaving behind a rainbow for the newlyweds.

It's fair to say that we relied on all 10 years' experience to execute this one so flawlessly, despite the extenuating weather. Huzzah!
