Y’all, this week was fast and it was furious. Lots of things happening all at once between work and watching the end of civilization as we know it, I’m not sure if I should be laughing or crying. Part of me wants to throw my hands up and run away, the other part of me? She goes down the meme rabbit hole so she can keep going.

These sassy and funny posts are literally doing so much work every day that we might need to rethink this only on Friday arrangement.

I made a pit stop on my way yesterday Miskelly Furniture and Elizabeth Ann Home and it did not disappoint. I could have spent a million dollars in five minutes. Not even joking. I would be like you need this and this and Alisa needs this mahjong set and Alisa needs this art and she needs this table for Mahjong. Wait. Did I just say they had Mahjong? I did and they do.

Y'all, the busy season has started. We are 5 1/2 weeks out from our first house. I know, I can't believe it either. But I am pumped.
Your facebook and instagram will be full of gorgeous trees this year. We have a few new homes that we are working with and we can't wait to show you what we have cooked up.
In the meantime, I am sharing twenty four ribbon combinations from my most extensive ribbon collection ever. Here is the scary part, I have already sold out of a few of these twice. We are ready for something good, I can tell.
If you are interested in new ribbon for your tree, you don't have to be on the list to get in on the action. Just drop your email below and I will send you a link to these. You will be able to enlarge the photos and look at them closely.

No controversy just my opinions as a Christmas Designer of thirty two years. We don't get old or become irrelevant, we are seasoned. We don't make the mistakes of those claiming to be the latest and greatest.
I have been doing this long before it was cool on Instagram. I will be doing it long after the influencers move on to the next latest and greatest.
Don't fall for the trends that keep you constantly wanting more. Invest in quality, invest in actual design and always be ready for the compliments.
A Christmas tree is a work of art. That hill is the only one that matters to me. I am ready to create this year's trees and it's going to be so good.
Which one is a surprise for you and which one do you not agree with? We will still be friends if we don't agree, someone always has to be wrong and it's not me. e Just kidding but when it comes to the tree, I'm here for the truth. They don't call me a queen of Christmas for nothing.

Well, it’s time to share some very exciting news with you. Each year I donate an Alisa Berry designed and installed Christmas Tree as a raffle for Community Animal Rescue & Adoption - CARA as a fundraiser because animals are my heart and they need us.

This year, I decided that it could not be just an ordinary Christmas Tree. Losing Dolly Parton this year affected so many of us in ways I am sure most of us did not expect. She was the only famous person that I ever wanted to be like. She had a pure heart, bigger than life look and personality. We all need a little Dolly in our lives.

So this year’s CARA tree will be inspired by Dolly Parton. I’m designing it to include so many of the things near and dear to her. I’m not ready to release the tree design just yet but I asked CARA to find me a Dolly Parton rescue that could be the tree mascot. Here she is…. Dolly Parton.

Yellow is her favorite color and it suits her well. She is a young 4.5 year old who has recently weaned her last puppy. She’s pretty skinny at 42lbs currently for an American Bully breed but look at those eyes. Pure love. She’s well mannered, chooses peace over all the noise. She loves people. She’s not a big fan of outside right now because she has decided that the AC is really nice in MS and since she had only been an outside dog before she figured she deserves the good life now. She is HW positive and is beginning treatment. If you are interested in being a foster for her or wish to make her a permanent member of your family, please contact CARA

Dolly will be the tree Mascot and I will be releasing the tree design soon. Raffle tickets will go on sale October 1st.
All proceeds from the tree are donated directly to CARA.

I’m so excited about this girl and can’t wait to meet her and see if she approves of the Christmas Tree Design.
