Three published stories. Three different conversations. And readers across multiple ages and seasons of life. 🤍

Each of these books began with the hope that a story could help someone feel seen, begin an important conversation, or offer a little hope right when it is needed.

Have you purchased, gifted, or read any of these stories recently? I would genuinely love to hear what you thought.

Which story found its way to you- and what part stayed with you after you closed the book? Your messages, reviews, and shared experiences mean more to me than you know. They also help these stories reach more children and families. ✨

Seeing these patterns together as a quilt might be my new favorite way to imagine this collection. 🤎

This mockup brings together my whimsical woodland patterns - playful foxes, tiny mushrooms, autumn wildflowers, leafy sprigs, snails, acorns, and other little forest finds - in a warm palette of deep red, dusty rose, brown, mustard, soft green, and cream.

The larger woodland animal prints make sweet feature fabrics, while the smaller florals and scattered motifs work as coordinating prints. Together, they’re perfect for autumn quilts, woodland nursery projects, children’s clothing, cozy accessories, and fall home décor.

All of these whimsical woodland fabrics are available in my Spoonflower shop, where you can order them by the yard or choose from wallpaper and home décor options.

Now I’m curious: Would you make this into a quilt, or do you see another sewing project? 🦊🍄🌿

Wildflowers, wild horses, and autumn colors - this collection feels especially right for this moment. 🤎

With deep red, warm brown, dusty mauve, soft beige, and pale pink, my “Wildflowers & Wild Horses Collection” brings together a little bit of fall, a little bit of western, and a whole lot of free spirit.

It would be beautiful for autumn quilts, western-inspired sewing projects, cowgirl apparel, cozy home décor, or a room that needs a softer take on rustic western style.

And after spending the week thinking about Dolly - her sparkle, strength, kindness, and wonderfully unapologetic way of being herself - these designs feel like they carry a little of that same wildflower-and-rhinestone-cowgirl energy. ✨

Which are you drawn to first - the wildflowers or the wild horses?

I cried. It just makes me so sad to think that the world exists without Dolly in it.

I have always been a huge Dolly fan. Of course, I loved her music - but it was never about the music for me. It was who she was: joyful, generous, funny, full of faith, unapologetically herself, unapologetically authentic, and always finding a way to make others feel seen.

Dolly once said, “Find out who you are and do it on purpose.” She did exactly that - and then used who she was to bring light, laughter, hope, and kindness to the world.

She also reminded us, “If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” What a beautiful way to honor her legacy: channel a little more Dolly. Be kinder. Laugh louder. Love people well. Share your smile. Make the world a little brighter for someone else.

Thank you for the music, the joy, the generosity, and the love, Dolly. You made this world a better place simply by being in it, and your light will keep shining.

This world lost an angel, and heaven surely gained one.
We will always love you. 🤍✨

Current work in progress: spring florals for next year. I’m sketchjng the motifs first, then creating the simple line work versions, and then on to the full color versions. Here’s a peek at what is taking shape. Do you like the minimalistic line work or the dramatic color way the best?

One of my favorite characters to illustrate in Beautiful Child, What Could You Be 🤍 Her name is Brindlee.

My kids spent so much time around firetrucks at Jason’s work - they were hooked from the start. Like most little boys, both of mine dreamed of being firefighters at one point or another.

But while I was creating this page, I couldn’t stop thinking about all the little girls who dream the same dream… and sometimes get discouraged before they ever get the chance to try.

So this one is for the girls.
The brave ones.
The curious ones.
The ones who feel called to something big.

There is space for you, too. 🚒✨
Thanks for the inspiration.
