As I close this 14 year chapter the story is not over. These 14 years gave me happiness, sadness, pain and excitement. I loved the Attic To Basement everyday I walked inside. I loved each and every customer that came through the door. I made so many friends. Every grandchild has run through the shop over the years they have worked the counter or slept under the counter. Today I locked the door for the last time. I have had so many people reach out to say they loved the shop and it melts my heart. I have prayed with people, cried with people and got some of the best hugs. Family has always come first and with this job I never missed anything my kids or grandkids did and I am beyond blessed for that. Being a mom and grandma will forever be my favorite part of my life but being a shop owner gives me purpose and I will continue but I will miss this little shop. The next chapter will bring happiness and healing. This chapter is about being a wife and being strong for the both of us. Sugar On Main will be amazing and it will also be challenging but I will be strong I will build the best candy shop on Main St. Thank you to every person who has been part of this journey. Thank you to every person who has helped my family in this difficult time. I have loved the East end for many years but now I will call the West end my new home.
