✨Boujee-but like-on a budget✨ My name is Shawna Buenger and my company is Nevie LoRu. I am an artist, a budget friendly interior decorator and business owner.

After a career in high end property management and development, I quit my job to stay at home with my kiddos. I found myself still searching for a creative outlet and turned to the walls of my own home. I have always loved to do large scale paintings, and basically all aspects of the creative process, so I took the principles I had learned from interior designers I worked with in property developm

ent and applied them to my home. I found that I loved interior design and renovated every home I had along with friends and families' homes. When my husband and I built a home together, I told him that I wanted to create the designs and visions I had in my head, not hire a designer. Our home became the catalyst for my hobby turning into my business. After my children were all in school, my focus became Nevie LoRu. My daughters are the inspiration for my company's name. It is a combination of all of their Nicknames. I absolutely love being able to find stylish options for my clients that do not cost a small fortune. Everyone is entitled to a beautiful home that fits their style and needs without having to keep up with every design trend. I work with clients to remodel, renovate, and transform spaces, mostly in residential homes, but also on commercial projects. I work with all budgets, all speeds and as hands on as my clients need me to be. I know there are a lot of designers out there and a lot of artists, but I like to think that the combo of both interior designer and my love of art is more of a rarity.

My family has had a seasonal campsite for several years now. Our golf cart wasn’t safe from my need to beautify all things. She’s just waiting on a new steering wheel and TADA. She’s pretty now!

I worked on a dining room and butlers pantry refresh today. I love working with clients who aren’t afraid of color! I used as much of their furniture from around their home, and incorporated a lot of their artwork and pieces that they weren’t sure how to display.

Put some finishing touches on this beautiful home today. Top to bottom-floors to decor-I was given trust from my clients and it has turned out so beautifully. They are still waiting on a few pieces, but it was time to make this house a home.

We went to visit my sweet mother in law today. She fed us, and I wallpapered her pantry. My husband was a handyman for a day. Weather was gloomy but the day was lovely! This wallpaper was just a little thing that just required some time, but what a happy change!
