Apparently we’ve been busy. 😂

Between the two of us, Carlos and I just wrapped up four closings in 10 days, with a few more things already in the works.

If you’ve been around here for a while, you’ve probably seen Carlos pop up from time to time. What I probably haven’t made quite as clear is that he’s also my partner in the real estate side of All Things Real Estate & Design.

We work together on buyers, sellers, investments and plenty of projects where the lines between real estate and design get a little blurry, which, as it turns out, is exactly how I like it.

Real estate may never be the loudest thing on this page, but it’s a pretty big part of what I do.

And lately, we’ve been doing a lot of it. 🤎

Design, real estate, strategy, problem-solving and a suspicious amount of shopping. Kinda chic, honestly. 🤎

There’s no greater compliment than a referral, especially when it means getting to work with the same family again and again. 🤎

This is officially the third family member I’ve had the opportunity to design for, and this time we’re reworking a bathroom in their new home to make room for a few things on her wish list: a soaking tub, walk-in shower and double vanity.

A little extra square footage, a lot of space planning, and a custom rendering to help visualize how the finish plan could all come together.

Can’t wait to see this one come to life. 👀

Three years ago, I decided to go all in on myself.

August 25th used to be my anniversary at Steinhafels, a place that gave me years of experience, some pretty incredible relationships, and such a strong foundation in design.

Now, that date marks something different: three years of being completely self-employed.

When I left, I knew I wanted to create a career that brought together design and real estate. I had a vision for All Things Real Estate & Design, but I definitely didn’t have every detail figured out.

And honestly? I still don’t. 😂

But three years later, I’ve designed homes from the ground up, helped people buy and sell them, furnished and styled spaces, worked on investment properties and short-term rentals, and taken on projects I never would have imagined when I started. I even snuck in a commercial project or two… or three. ☺️

There is still so much I want to do, but every once in a while it’s nice to stop and realize that the thing I was trying to build… I actually built. 🥺

And I certainly didn’t build it alone. I’m incredibly grateful for every client, referral, recommendation, collaboration, and person who has trusted me with their project along the way.

Three years down. On to year four. 🤎

She closed on her new home last week, but the plan for making it feel like hers was already well underway. 🤎

While we were working toward closing, we were also creating a cohesive design plan for her new home, from furniture and lighting to rugs, art and all of the pieces that will eventually make it feel like home.

She’s officially a homeowner, the orders are starting, and now we get to watch these boards turn into actual rooms. 👀

This is exactly the kind of overlap between real estate and design that I envisioned when I started All Things, and it’s pretty fun getting to see it play out in real life.

The bathroom no one asked to see. 😂 Mostly leftover decor, a free dresser, and a handful of “this could work” moments. Proof that not every room needs to be expensive to feel put together.

I have had ENOUGH of the bowl of random crap living on my counter. 😂 This little breadbox gave everything a home and somehow made my kitchen feel twice as tidy. Sometimes it’s the little upgrades that make the biggest difference. 🙌

Sometimes a room doesn’t need another large piece of furniture—it just needs a little more balance.

These cube ottomans help fill the space around the leather ottoman, giving it a little more visual weight while keeping the room feeling open. And when guests come over? Pull them out for extra seating or top them with a tray for an additional surface.

Functional pieces that also make a room feel more complete? That’s a win in my book.
