Anyone interested in some agave? They are not perennials, but I take them indoors over the winter. I MAY get around to bringing some of the “pups” up to sell.

Come shop at the Front Porch this Saturday (8/29). Lots of new (yet old) treasure in! I’ve been traveling for personal reasons and seeking treasures all along the way! I’ve literally been from coast to coast the past month and a half. Went for other reasons like to visit my mother-in-law in California and to move my daughter to South Carolina…but I made some stops along the way…it’s in my blood; I’m sure you all understand!

Some more faded florals with a little less color… a small folding coffee table.

Come shop at the Front Porch this Saturday (8/29). Lots of new (yet old) treasure in! I’ve been traveling for personal reasons and seeking treasures all along the way! I have been traveling and finding treasure along the way! California provided a few good finds in July! Heading to South Carolina this month. And good old South Dakota has not failed me as I found some amazing architectural elements.

We lost a dear friend last week. Budd taught us a lot about vintage Pyrex, and he had a great collection he loved to show off! I figured his health was deteriorating when he called me to ask if I’d help him sell more of his collection. I just didn’t realize (or maybe didn’t want to face) how little time he had left with us.

He also loved old metal bouncer chairs. He taught me a lot about restoring them, what was authentic, what was not.

I used to call him Grinch around the holidays. But Budd was a genuine friend to both my mom and me. He brought lots of laughs to the shop. He will be greatly missed!

Was going to mow this morning, but my mower says “not today”! Also, Chicago was pink rock topped sometime recently and there are “no parking” signs along N. Chicago. You are welcome to park out back, but if there’s overflow, you may need to park on the north side of the block ???? My apologies for any inconvenience and if you have to look at the multitude of dandelions along the way!
