A seriously beautiful restoration in Eken Park- thank you Sabra Gent for another community referral ✨✌🏼these soft wood wax based refinishing projects take all of the elbow grease, and all of the patience and love! We used 2 coats of water based poly emulsion and are now preparing for a final coat of satin water based finish…cheers to salt of the earth ✌🏼

Aluminum oxide is nasty business. This floor was once a pretty healthy upsell by the builders who built this home. We started at 24 grit, ended at 100 grit. Black stained factory "hand scraped” hard maple: returned back to the character grade wood that it is. We used Berger Seidel exoblock and ecogold on this-cheers!

That’s a wrap on the 3 day medallions instruction. I completed 1 1/2 medallions and folks in this class created some amazing examples of artistry and collaboration. I feel fortunate to be able to have so much instruction from Lenny Hall as well as Michael Dittmer. I’m tired and ready to see my family (part of them at least.
