Neo-Deco is back — but not the way you think.

Not Gatsby.
Not theme-y.
Not overdone.

Refined geometry. Sculptural lighting. Curves with discipline. Materials that whisper luxury instead of shouting it.

Sunset Magazine tapped us to weigh in on how Neo-Deco is evolving — and here’s what I love about this shift:

It’s not maximalism.
It’s controlled glamour.

As a builder’s designer, this is where it gets exciting. Because Neo-Deco isn’t about excess… it’s about intentional moments. A powder bath that stuns. A bar that feels cinematic. A fireplace with architectural authority.

This is how you create memorability in a spec home without blowing the budget.

And that’s the difference between trendy… and strategic.

Neo-Deco done right?
It sells.

We were recently interviewed by Sunset Magazine about how to properly use animal print in a room……

Animal print in 2026 isn’t about turning your living room into a safari.

It’s about restraint.

A zebra pillow in a quiet luxury space.
A leopard ottoman in an otherwise tailored room.
A moment — not a theme.

When used thoughtfully, animal print becomes texture. Movement. Energy.
Not chaos.

That’s the difference between trend-chasing and design leadership.

Thank you, , for the feature.

just hit the MLS in Chastain Park, Atlanta … and she’s soft modern done right.

Layered neutrals. Sculptural lighting. Movement in the stone.
A floorplan that actually flows.

This is what happens when builder-thinking meets interior strategy.
Not just pretty. Profitable.

Designed for the Atlanta buyer who wants warmth without clutter, sophistication without sterility.

And yes — every finish was chosen with resale in mind.

Soft modern isn’t beige.
It’s balance.

Atlanta, she’s live.

Being featured in Business of Home wasn’t about pretty photos — it was about the not-so-sexy topic every designer asks me about behind closed doors: profitability.

Here’s the truth most people skip:
Profit doesn’t come from hustle at the end of a project.
It’s created by decisions made at the very beginning — before selections, before emotions, before scope creep moves in rent-free.

I built RB Interiors on builder-thinking and designer instinct.
Turns out… the math likes that combo.

Bold, but make it grounded. Moody, but still timeless.

This powder bath was designed to stop you in your tracks—without feeling try-hard. We layered plum cork wallpaper for warmth and depth, grounded it with old-world stone flooring (because texture = soul), and topped it off with Calacatta Viola countertops that bring just the right amount of drama. Add smoked glass pendants, and suddenly a “quick powder bath” turns into a moment.

Proof that bold doesn’t have to be loud—and luxury doesn’t have to feel cold. This is what happens when materiality, restraint, and confidence walk into the same room.

Design that makes you linger… even when you don’t need to.

Creating a vaulted “large and in-charge” Quiet Luxury walk- in Primary Shower with large format tile and ch*****ne fixtures that showcases luxury ( grandly)but not too “Bold” was the client request. We think - mission accomplished. Add the dazzle of a “bubble chandelier” and the “grounding” taupe cabinetry colors and you have a certifiable luxe yet organic feeling space to prepare for the day ahead.

Warm textures, sculptural lighting, art that actually has a point — this space was designed to spark ideas and close deals.

We design offices the same way we design homes and spec builds:
smart layouts, real materials, and details builders appreciate as much as clients do.

Huntsville or Atlanta or Phoenix — good design is good design.
And yes… it should make you want to sit down and stay awhile.

Design that works as hard as it looks.

There’s something about a moody fireplace moment that just feels like grown-up sophistication… with a little “I may or may not have a charcuterie board in the kitchen” energy.

This living room is our love letter to sculptural lines, bold art, and textures that make you want to cancel plans and stay home. The layered black mantle? A whole architectural attitude. The burl consoles? Quiet luxury but make it spicy. The ceiling detail? Because a good hair flip starts at the roots.

We designed this space to feel collected, modern, and just dramatic enough to keep your guests wondering if you secretly moonlight as an art dealer.

Welcome to RB Interiors—where the couches are cozy, the lighting is intentional, and the fireplace gets treated like the main character it is.
