🎨 I enjoyed leading a workshop at the Trimble County Public Library. We “Painted to the Beat” with our bright colors!

🎵One of my favorite activities is to paint/color while listening to classical music. It’s so peaceful. I remember doing this with my three littles years ago for the first time and being surprised at how it brought such calmness to my home.

🎶 Tip for the day mamas: Pull out some art supplies (crayons and a coloring book will do) and turn on some classical music!

Excited to introduce a new program to our community in partnership with Madison Parks Department: Art in the Park! Located at John Paul Park, this hands-on, outdoor experience invites participants to explore their creativity through fun and engaging art projects.

There is currently one sessions available—July 22—from 10:00 to 11:30 AM. The cost is $20 per class, and it's open to anyone (kids and adults) ages nine and up. Each session is limited to 15 participants to keep the experience personal and engaging.

Registration is open NOW through July 19th This program offers a fun and creative way to spend your summer mornings and try something new. Visit madison-in.gov/rec to learn more and sign up before the spots fill up!

❤️Thank you to Playhouse Cafe for the opportunity to paint fireworks today with some young artists.

🎨Process Art allows for the freedom to explore with art. Less rules. Yes, it’s messy, but worth it—creating confidence in children.

🇺🇸We stamped. We splattered. We celebrated together—our Nation’s birthday. Happy 4th! 🇺🇸

🖼️ At 20 years old, his mother sparked his initial interest in the arts by bringing him paint supplies when he was confined to his bed due to appendicitis. Despite his father’s wishes, he dropped out of law school and courageously decided to follow his heart and pursue art. Later, he became an influential artist of his time.

💕A note to the moms (or aunts, grandmas, etc.), don’t overlook the ways we can offer encouragement and support to the children in our lives. Who knows what it will lead to! 💕

🎨 We had an adventurous time painting today, blowing paint bubbles and splattering paint. I am so proud of these young artists! Look how well they did!
